Delete your account

You can delete your Littr account from here, or from inside the app under Account → Delete account. Either way it's permanent, so you may want to download a copy of your data first.

What gets deleted

Your email address and password
Your profile photo
Your XP, level, day streak and badges
Every photo you uploaded, erased from our storage
Your litter marks come off the community map — a trail of marks is a record of where you walked

What stays

Your marks are hidden rather than destroyed, so that cleanups other people recorded against them — and the points those earned — survive. Once your name is off them and the photos are gone, what's left is a coordinate, a litter type and a date, which isn't personal data. Your username isn't released for anyone else to register.

Three things outlive the account: a photo our moderators are still ruling on, your display name on event chat messages so conversations stay readable, and the text of any feedback you sent us, detached from you. Email us if you want those removed too, and we will.
